Introducing a new exhibition that’s as colourful and engaging as our cafe! An ‘unusual’ and talented artist has flown in to Dumfries and brought with him a series of portraits of… well, his friends! And who are his friends? His friends just happen to be the local seagulls!
These lighthearted, fun paintings capture the playful side of our feathered neighbours, and we think you might actually like them! Not many residents of Dumfries are fans of seagulls (or respect their place in our community), but there’s something special about these portraits that might just brighten up your visit to The Usual Place and make you view seagulls in a whole new light.
We believe that everyone deserves respect, dignity, and a chance to contribute to the world around us. Bob the Seagull and his friends will help you see beyond the stereotypes into the souls beneath! At least you can see these amazing creatures whilst enjoying some of the best food and drink in town and help support our work in providing life-changing opportunities for young people with additional support needs.
